Legal information about ownership, liability and use of the Amalur EIS portal.
1. Identification and ownership
Amalur EIS is a publicly accessible portal developed within the framework of Grupo Ekopol and the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). 2. Purpose and objectives
Amalur EIS aims to provide public access to harmonised environmental impact indicators, obtained through LCIA methodologies and European data sources (E-PRTR, CAMS, Eurostat), for educational, research and public policy support purposes.
3. Terms of use
Access to and use of the Amalur EIS portal is free of charge. Users undertake to make appropriate use of the content and services, in accordance with applicable legislation and these terms. Use of the portal for unlawful purposes, or in any way that may damage, disable or impair the portal or its services, is prohibited.
4. Intellectual property and licences
Original Amalur EIS content (text, maps, visualisations, methodologies) is subject to intellectual property rights. Unless expressly stated otherwise, content is published under Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 licence, allowing use, distribution and reproduction with attribution. Data from external sources (E-PRTR, CAMS, Eurostat) are subject to the licences of their respective owners.
5. Disclaimer
Amalur EIS strives to ensure the accuracy and currency of content, but cannot guarantee the absence of errors or inaccuracies. Use of data and indicators is the responsibility of the user. Amalur EIS is not liable for decisions made on the basis of the information provided without verification against official sources.
6. External links
Amalur EIS may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for information purposes only and Amalur EIS is not responsible for the content of such sites or the privacy policies they apply.
7. Modifications

8. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute arising from access to or use of the portal, the parties submit to the courts of the user’s domicile or, failing that, Bilbao (Spain).
